Elnur Electric Manual Storage Heaters are ideal for living & dining rooms, hallways and landings.

The range can also be used in bathrooms outside zone 2, provided that the installation complies with IEE regulations.

Storage heaters offer comfortable warmth throughout the day taking advantage of low-tariff electricity.

Manual models charge throughout the low-tariff period where as Automatic models incorporate an ambient thermostat which optimises the charge to suit room conditions.

Typically the Automatic models can save an additional 15% in energy costs.

The controls are conveniently positioned on top of the storage heater for ease of use.

Once the optimum settings are selected, no further adjustment is necessary.

Storage heaters store heat at night when base load electricity is available at a low price and release it during the day.

Heat is stored in clay bricks or other ceramic material because of its low cost and high specific heat capacity.

Storage heaters are normally used in conjunction with a two-tariff electricity meter which records separately the electricity used during the off-peak period so that it can be billed at a lower rate.

In order to derive the cost benefit from a storage heater, the house must be on a special electricity tariff.
